are subdomains part of a single web site or separate sites?
How are subdomains handled? For instance, if I've got example.com, blog1.example.com, and blog2.example.com, is that viewed as 1 web site or 3 from Typekit's perspective?
I understand that a Portfolio plan would not cover something like a wmpu setup with 100's of blogs on subdomains; that's clearly outside the scope of what you intend.
I'm wondering about the individual or business who has a main site and subsites that all basically fall under a single umbrella as they all represent the same entity.
In searching for answers here, it looks like a number of people have asked about this, but I have not found a clear answer.

Inappropriate?Subdomains appear not to be working. It's very confusing, since the Kit settings specifically mention 'domains', which suggests subdomains *are* allowed.
My guess is that subdomains were allowed in the past, but this has been disabled, yet nobody bothered to change the wording in the kit settings. -
Inappropriate? At present, here's how it works: each Kit can contain up to 10 domains, including explicitly listed subdomains. blog1.example.com, blog2.example.com, and example.com = 3 domains.
tvandeputte, if you're having trouble getting subdomains to work you can drop us a note at support@typekit.com and we'll help out. -
Inappropriate?Well, I might have been doing it the wrong way. I added 'klasse.be' as a domain, which didn't seem to work (I got a 403 error trying to load the Typekit script).
I've now changed it to the subdomain of our testing environment and that works fine. So, am I right in assuming that I could simply add www.klasse.be to that list, and it would work for both our live site and the testing site? Even on a Trial account (we're going to upgrade anyway, so this question is kind of academic) -
Inappropriate?klasse.be (without any quotes) should have worked...
Anyway, I'm glad the subdomain works! You should be able to use www.klasse.be just fine, but let us know if you have trouble. Yep, even with a Trial account.
