Too many "exotic" fonts, and many have no italic and bold
The font selection is okay, but it mostly seems to cover display fonts and "exotic" stuff. Now there's nothing wrong with that, but I still haven't found a good font for regular text (not in my Personal library, anyway).
Many of the more "normal" fonts also have the problem that they don't have bold and italic styles. That makes them much less useful, because I just need italics and I like using bold in lists and sometimes in longer stories.

Inappropriate? Thanks for the feedback. We'll add more text fonts and make sure that we offer multiple weights and styles.
CSS can handle italicizing and making fonts bold for fonts without those styles/weights, but we understand that what you are looking for is to use those weights/styles as designed by the type designer not simulated by the browser. -
Inappropriate?Interesting, I didn't know that CSS simulates font styles - I'll have to try that out. That'll do for now.

Inappropriate? As an old school designer my dream would be for all of the traditional fonts that you might find in any standard type catalog circa 1980: Sans serifs like Franklin Gothic and Futura - and serifs like Garamond, Bodoni and Goudy. I'd even settle for knock off versions!
I’m typographical!

Inappropriate? You can expect to see lots more fonts added in the coming weeks and months.

Inappropriate?Michael — For Typekit alternatives to Futura, have a look at Apertura from Betatype and Mark Simonson’s Proxima Nova or Metallophile (a rougher, handcut face). All of these are quality original typefaces from good designers.

Inappropriate?I have to agree with Michael Pinto above, give us more of the classic 1980's and 90's fonts like Franklin Gothic, Mrs Eaves & Bureau Grotesque
I’m Waiting for it....

Inappropriate? As an offshoot of this, it would be nice to be able to hide certain fonts (e.g. those of an 'exotic' persuasion) in a recycling bin. There are some fonts that I know I'll never use, and I'd like to never have to see them.
Thanks for the stellar support in this forum, Bryan. -
Inappropriate?Josh - That's a great idea. I'll take it to the team.
