Why is United plugging up the power in first class on the 752? It makes no sense at all!
On the 757-200 non P.S. aircraft, first class empower ports are getting covered with plastic and turned off. On a 6 hour trans-continental, this is really annoying.

Inappropriate? This is ridiculous, and without any additional information it reminds me of the cynical games that the cell carriers play with us by turning off features on hand-sets to sell us upgrades and services they control. Has United (and its friendly skies) has lost its way?
I’m sad

Inappropriate? The in-seat power stuff has been flaky on a lot of airlines/planes I've noticed. E.g. on transatlantic flights I usually try to fly SAS since they were the first carrier to have wifi on all their international flights. But the power plugs in their seats are so iffy it's a 50/50 proposition to get any power during the trip. And inevitably the crew have no idea why.

Inappropriate?I find you can not count on airline power ports to be a)present and b)functional. It's a shame.

Inappropriate? They're probably trying to make first class more like economy. The one time I flew it on United I found the only difference was glass drinking glasses. What no headrest cover? If anyone needs a customer experience overhaul it's United first class. Hopefully you can take Virgin next time wherever you're going - plugs on every seat. I can't wait.
