Can't sign up!
Hey, how do I get a username to sign up for your site to get 1 of my songs rated. Everytime I try to sign up, it says... "oops, there was an error on our part. Please go back to the home page or try reloading the page."
Please let me know what I'm doing wrong. Thanks...Derek Robertson

No, you shouldn't delete your account. What do you see at the top right side of the page? Does it have username and password fields or does it say Create Artist and Logout at the top? If it has username and password field, go ahead and log in, then you should be able to create an artist by clicking the Create Artist link at the top.
If that doesn't help, please send an e-mail to support@uplaya.com with your username and from the e-mail address you signed up with and we'll see what's going on with your account.

We're working on the "oops" page so you get some meaningful message about what went wrong, and hope to have a fix in next week. In the meantime, make sure you've filled out all the fields. If you try to sign up too many times with errors in the form, it will lock you out for a while. Sorry, but it's a security measure. If you wait a few hours, it should clear out and you can try again. Just make sure you fill out all the requested fields and it should go through.

Inappropriate?I'm having the same problem, and now it's telling me I've "reached the limit of signup attempts" and locks me out of the system.

yep, me to exactly the same problem and even though I got it to send me email with my log in details still it said I dont exist and said you have used 3 attempts etc. Looks like I am not the only one then. Great start really. -

Have you already tried signing up? That message will only show up if you're trying to create a username that someone's already used. Try something like tbase1985 and see if that works, or your first initial and last name (unless that's really tbass). -

I have already signed up and I have been sent 2 activation codes. I use one and I get the messege " Congradulations......." Great, I'm in. Then I'm asked to create an artist. I try different names (even your suggested name above - lol), but I still get the messege "Login is already taken" even though I am already logged in. What is going on with that?
