Inappropriate?Great idea. At this moment we use images and an overlay to collect feedback. We're working on 'live tests', which can be used to test any (live) webpage.
Interaction on the original page is a difficult issue, because you'll get interference between the test and the original page. Any thoughts or ideas on that would be more than welcome. -
Inappropriate?It would definitely allow for more flexibility (for example, by allowing the use of Javascript/AJAX controls, Flash, etc.), though recording on these types of media is probably considerably more complex.
There is another service that allows you to upload HTML I believe, loop11.com. Check them out and perhaps some new ideas will come of it. -
Inappropriate?Maybe it's too complicated, but it might be nice to have some "clickable" areas that would trigger a new mockup screen. So this way a navigation flow can be emulated.
