Option to turn off chat smilies
It would be nice to have the option to turn off the image smilies in the flash chat.

Inappropriate?it's because they're images and they mess with my chat. they scroll up slower and make the chat all messed up. I just don't like them at all.

Also I honestly just don't like how the smilies look. like the ":D" face looks creepy and they have huge eyes. Some more simplistic smilies would be better, though I am fine with the dog. Dog ftw! Lol -

Inappropriate?Hi Amanda, my reason is similar to another's: they draw too much attention. They are "too intense" for the conversation we normally have. Before, a : ) would be subtle, like a human simply smiling. But the new graphics are more extreme: what human opens their eyes real wide and puts on a huge smile after speaking? So, it's just a big jump in meaning. Plus, the eye is drawn to the graphics first, words second, and that's an unwanted change. -
