Horrible reception in Florida! Thinking about leaving Verizon.
I have had Verizon since my family got a cell phone (sometime now) and I just moved to Florida where I have horrible service!!!! I went to the store and they "updated" my software but that still doesn't help. It seemed like they were blaming me! I am seriously thinking about leaving Verizon.

Inappropriate?Check the coverage map at www.verizonwireless.com too, this will help to determine if you are in a coverage area.
If, in fact you are well within coverage, then see if the signal improves significantly outdoors. Some buildings are constructed in such a way that they block out wireless signals.
Also, consider another phone before you consider another carrier - different phones may handle things better - check reviews of the phone online before you buy a phone.
