vimeo fails to recognize Facebook Connect credentials

I originally signed up with vimeo using Facebook Connect. Now, when I use my same Facebook login and password I get an error message: "The email address and password you entered do not match." When I select the Forgot Your Password? link and submit the email address for my Facebook account, I get an error message: "Sorry, that email address is not on record. You must enter the email address you registered your account with." So I can't get in to my vimeo account, and it pretends to not know about my Facebook credentials. What do I do?
