eirtext doesnt work
Installed Eirtext (free) on my iphone. Running OS3.0. Runs over WiFi. However I am unable to send International texts. Not sure if the format is wrong. For example to send a text to a UK number, does it matter if I use +44 or 0044. Local texts seem ok. Any help/ guidance appreciated

Does it work when in UK? ie. are you able send a text to Irish mobile number? -

If you are an O2 Ireland customer roaming in the UK, then yes you can send to any international mobile number (including Ireland).
If you are an O2 UK customer, you cannot send to numbers outside of the UK. This is a limitation of O2 UK's webtext service.
All of the pay-for providers (e.g. Blueface.ie) will allow you to send cheap SMS to any international mobile number.
