Keyboard isssues in iPhone 3.0
Hi Vinny the new 3.0 update on the iPhone is causing problems with my eirtxt pro keyboard. Letters a sticking. Just wondering is anyone else having an issue. I have the latest version. Thanks

Solution is here:
Simply go into Settings/General/Reset Keyboard Dictionary and do a reset.

Hi Sean, please delete the app from your device and also from your Mac / PC.
Reboot your device.
Next, re-download the app on your Mac / PC.
Sync to install the app again.
Reboot.
See if that helps.

I'm afraid you'll have to wait until the 3.0 update is approved, unless you can get it working again via delete and reinstall.

The intial install was from the iPhone app store but the reinstall was from the computer.
I followed the instructions again, just in case I skipped a step the last time and it still won't work. :( -

Inappropriate?Hi Vinny i amm having the same problems with my key board also my shake to clear isnt working and i cant use my numbers, punctuation or my caps lock. When i switch to the numer screen it jumps back to the letter screen straight away. Can you help?

I deleted app from phone and iTunes on pc, downloaded it on pc again and sync but still the same! I'm just writing the texts in regular SMS and copy and paste them in which works out alright! -
Inappropriate?The absolute key to getting this solution to work, is to remember to reboot the iPhone; otherwise it doesn't work.

Inappropriate?hey, I did exactly as instructed above (delete & re download ect..) but now eirtext pro wont sign in. when I enter my details & pressing 'test' it just says logging in.

Hi Killian, try the steps above again, but make sure that you DON'T hit the Test button after entering your details. Just try send a message to yourself.

Inappropriate?If you've tried the steps and they didn't work for you, it unfortunately means that you will have to wait until the 3.0 update is released. I will be submitting it very soon, so expect to see it in a couple of weeks.

I uninstalled eirtext pro from both iPhone and pc and restarted iPhone. After synching, I then re-installed through the iPhone Appstore. It is working perfect now with no keyboard issues. I noticed that my purchase did not re-appear on pc after synch.

Inappropriate?Hi folks, im having the same problem sticking letters and cannot switch to symbol keypad, it just changes straight back and if i type the letter i it goes to capital I which looks like the letter L on the Iphone, however Vinny has an update awaiting verification from apple and has Ive read said to use the free app untill then, but if you type your txt message in your original iphone sms app then cut or copy and paste it into Eirtext Pro, you can still send it then your back online again?! its a pain i know but it works so you can still send intl texts..This avoids typing with the sticky letters and paying for the txts,
