RSS in Vivaty!
It would be cool to have RSS feeds in Vivaty Scenes. I can think of a thousand mashups, bringing the data in the scenes. What do you guys think?

Inappropriate? Thanks for the feedback! We definitely have some very cool ideas for incorporating RSS feeds into Vivaty Scenes.
What specific kinds of feeds would you like to import into your scene and how would you like to display them? -
Inappropriate?I would say personal feeds, like Blog or Twitter feeds. Or things like the last.fm last played song feed and maybe friendfeed activity streams? Google maps?
Of course it is text, I have no idea how you guys are going to incorporate that. Will you be using textures? At least it is should be readable ;-) -
Inappropriate?I'd like to add this Vivaty feed to my page - or can we already do that?
-
Inappropriate?Hi Kris and Donza, we are working on feeds in 2 directions. 1) feeds going into your scene (like text-based feeds such as Twitter), and 2) a Vivaty feed that comes out of your scene and can be displayed. Stay tuned and thanks for the suggestions, we love Friendfeed and Twitter here and we love the idea of taking your vivaty activity with you around the web too.

Inappropriate?I'd like to be able to add an rss / xml feed from any website of my choosing... news about the football team that I support from a variety of rss feeds, etc.. this could go for any space that you create which is based around a team / band etc. that you are interested in.
It would be nice if this can be displayed an an object that can be put up on a wall, perhaps.. which then becomes interactive, i.e. you can drill-down to see the summary / content of a feed item, or click on the headline and actually open up and read the page full-screen, with a quick way of returning to the scene... or is that too much to ask? :-)
I’m thankful
