Vivaty now won't open in either IE or Firefox
V used to work in IE7. When the new Firefox compatibility was announced I went in and tried opening V in both IE and in Firefox.
1--Found that IE8, which I now have, is not yet supported. 2--I used to be able to open V in Firefox by switching rendering engines. Now I can't open it at all. It tells me it can't hook me up to V's servers and to check my network and firewall configs, which haven't changed.
Should I re-download V and try again in Firefox? Will it keep my scene if I do?

Inappropriate?hi lara, yes, we are not quite to IE8! it sounds like you now have some conflicting technology going on. i would uninstall everything related to Vivaty Player and hit Vivaty Scenes again with either IE or Firefox. All your content is saved server-side so you won't lose your scene or settings inside vivaty scenes. hope this works! thanks for your patience...

Inappropriate?hi heidi! a month plus after your response, i finally have a chance to breathe and re-set vivaty. I uninstalled completely. can't get into vivaty in IE, of course, because i'm in IE8. tried firefox, but it restarted.
i had to sign back into facebook to get back in with vivaty, but it told me my account was "down for maintenance" and to try again in a few hours. this is a pain -- vivaty is such fun. hope it all works out.
now that it's all uninstalled, i guess i'll keep trying in firefox, see if i can get it to work. i love the new look of that first screen, before i launch vivaty.

Inappropriate?hi lara, thanks for coming back and trying Vivaty again! i will double-check but i don't think we were down for maintenance this afternoon. was it a facebook message or a vivaty message? hoping it works the next time you try. i would wait until monday (late in day) because we have a release (new halloween graveyard, lots of other features, a few bug fixes) so maybe that will help.

Inappropriate?the maintenance message was a facebook message, not a vivaty message. and it turned out to be a "facebook doesn't know what to do" message because I tried again in a couple minutes and got through to my facebook account fine. I'll try again monday. thanks.

Inappropriate?Vivaty keeps on sending me to a different thing with a simple character i want to use my character and check the gifts i got and meet people and make new friends it used to say to download foxfire 3 and i have that but it still won't work
