XP/Vista Activation
Vivaty Player requires Windows XP/VISTA, but I hate to activate! Its installer says under Windows Me/2000, last no-activation OSes: "Vivaty Player requires that your computer is running Windows Vista or Windows XP" That tries to force users to abandon last Me/2000 OSes that are still free from dready activation, and surrender their freedom and independence, but if they still hate to activate, they will rather stick with Flux instead, because Flux still supports Windows Me/2000. I too stick with Flux for these reasons.

Hi there,
Thanks so much for your feedback and inquiries. At this point, all of our energy is focused on promoting Vivaty Player and Vivaty Studio and ensuring that we concentrate our focus on development and support for these two platforms.
Unfortunately, as part of this, it means we're no longer supporting or promoting legacy versions of either Player or Studio. It's for this reason why we're unlikely to put links up to those versions on the Vivaty site as we can no longer support them.
That said, we're very happy to provide you with a version of either of those tools if you don't see the version you'd like on the legacy Media Machines links you listed above. Just let us know.
I apologize in advance if this is not the resolution that you're seeking, but I hope you can understand our position as well.

Inappropriate?Hello, Commodore. You appear to have posted the same information about three times.

I hear your frustration, and we'll try to get comments from Vivaty for you, but I'm not sure creating duplicate topics will do it. -
Inappropriate?Currently, the Vivaty player supports Windows XP and Vista. At this time we have no plans to support legacy OSes such as Windows ME and 2000.
We are constantly working to make Vivaty Scenes more accessible to users and hope to expand our compatibility in the near future.

Thanks, MarkH, for the frank acknowledgement about this development detail. I know it is hard to give up older, legacy projects -- and harder still for users of those versions. -
Inappropriate? All legacy Media Machines links are destroyed. You destroyed our common 3D ancestry.
I’m betrayed
