PXT World on iPhone
PXT World is a web site used to view MMS messages. Not sure why (or if) it has to be this way, but I digress.
Having an iPhone (actually any phone capable of viewing photos) means I would rather see the MMS in the sms chat (intended way).
At the very least access the link to pxtworld containing the encrypted key so we don't have to remember the 6 digit code while visiting the browser would be nice, or as a last ditch effort, someone revamping the PXT World web site. iPhone's don't have flash support for a start.
Is this site (and idea) being reconsidered now that there are so many phones that can easily view images?
Cheers
Adam

Inappropriate?Hey Adam
Pxt world was set up so that customers with a non MMS capable handset could still 'receive' picture messages.
From what you are saying, it sounds like your iPhone is receiving the Pxt world link rather than the picture itself?
It might be a silly question, but are you running 3.0 software on your iPhone? Certainly on my iPhone with 3.0 (Not a 3GS) I receive pxt messages in the normal txt chat body.

Steve
I’m curious

Hi Steve,
Yep I receive an SMS with the pxt link. I assumed this happened to everyone? Is there a way I can get the setting reverted? Cheers -
Oh and yes, I have 3.0 on a 3G. -
Inappropriate?Having the same problem.
Had to click on the link, and enter the code .. However my (iPhone 3GS) browser just kind of does nothing on submission of the form. Wierd.
I’m frustrated

Inappropriate?Have either of you SENT an mms message yet?
Hopefully you will send an MMS, then you will receive MMS messages within the SMS chat window :)
Regards,
Steve
I’m confident

this answers the question

Ha ha, probably not. I've sent a few pictures, but not through MMS.
Thanks! This worked a treat. Much appreciated. -
Inappropriate?Have a jail-broken iPhone 3G using 3.0.1 (as 3.0 didn't work) from the UK. Had been using a Telstra sim card in the phone & MMS kinda worked. Have just changed to a Vodafone sim & now can't seem to use MMS at all.
The Vodafone iPhone website states you must send yourself an MMS message to activate it, but none of mine will go through. Went to have a look at the Cellular Data Network settings to make sure they were correct, but they are no longer present in the Network settings.............
Anyone know what's going on & how I might be able to resolve this?
Thanks,
Steve
