Whenever I try to setup Wakoopa on a mac I get an incorrect password error. I login to the website with my password and user name and it works. I resetup Wakoopa the with the same password and username on my windows machine and it works. Any explanations? Any help would be appreciated.
I've been using Wakoopa for quite a while now, and everything has been smooth. Until now.
I just restarted my Mac and installed these Apple Software updates:
* Quicktime 7.5.5
* Front Row Update 2.1.6
And now, Wakoopa Tracker keeps crashing. Over and over. I deleted the Wakoopa Tracker application and preference file, and reinstalled. It still crashed. It stays open for a few seconds and then crashes. It seems to be when it's sending its usage data it crashes, because it allows me to login before it decides to crash.
I'm running the latest version of Mac OS X Leopard, with Wakoopa Tracker 1.0.5.
Wakoopa Tracker locks opened directories and files for it's use, thus preventing the deletion, renaming or moving them. The only way to keep the files unlocked from the tracker is to not open them (not an option, I like to use my files), close the tracker (would rather use the tracker then keep it on my PC for nothing :P) or use a directory/file lock unlocker (eg. Unlocker).
The unlocker actually works fine and does clean up after the Tracker but I would like to see the Tracker do it by itself. On average, the Tracker leaves around 15 locks open, and doesn't close them.
So any idea why this keeps happening?
Specs for my setup are:
CPU: AMD Athlon XP 64 3500+
RAM: 1280MB
HDD: 80GB + 200GB
OS: WinVista Ultimate (no SP1)
I'd love to use wackoopa but since my OS is GNU/Linux I, unfortunately, can't. Since I can't really keep checking back on the site just in case the tracker for GNU/Linux is ready I would love to have an option to somehow subscribe to a mailing list that will inform me when it is ready.
Otherwise I'm bound to forget.
Alternatively, just post in this topic when it's ready and at least I'll see it in my dashboard :)
Does the Wakoopa tracker keep track of all application usage on a computer regardless of who's logged into the Windows XP computer? I only want Wakoopa to track when I'm logged into the PC and stop tracking once I'm logged out and someone else is logged in.
All these months of Wakoopa and I hate to have something wrong but Wakoopa crashes on me when using our Xerox Workcenter printer at my new office. Somehow I doubt the resident IT staff will have any sympathy for me. I have a feeling it's just a conflict with the software used to manage the printer and not Wakoopa's fault but it's a bit frustrating. Anyone else out there have this issue?
I would love to be able to double-click on my menubar/toolbar icon to go straight to my profile. Besides that it would be easy to also be able to change prefs via de toolbar icon (now you can only change those via the menubar icon).
Even though I did not notice any update of the tracker (so it's not exactly the same problem as I've seen), no data was sent in the last few days (I decided to wait a bit until it worked again, but it did not).
I'm using version 1.0.5-f4, on Windows 2000, behind a proxy, and it worked well before.
I have gotten the notification yesterday to update the tracker to the latest version. However, after updating it, the tracker has cease to sends my software usage data to the site. I have tried to re-install it again, but nothing has changed. I even uninstall the new version and opt for the old version, but so far that hasn't worked either.
Wakoopa widget and third party mashup share our usages instantly. But it's take too many time to set privacy for newly software usages we wouldn't share...
Also, we need privacy features into Wakoopa tracker... I submit you to study Cluztr extension features ;o)
My desired feature into your tracker :
- Submenu items with our last reported usages which open Wakoopa software page (+ previous submit)
- Option to delete (or set as private) last minutes of usages (like Cluztr)
The Wakoopa Tracker crashes almost immediately on Vista 64-bit. Is this a known problem? I checked the system requirements and didn't see anything about 32-bit vs. 64-bit.
The Windows download link for 1.0.5 hasn't been working since it was posted. Wakoopa always alerts me of a need to update and I keep trying the download link but all I get is a blank page. I've read online that there are some other people having this problem too. Is anyone else having trouble getting the Windows download link to work? Is there anywhere else that I can download the updated version?
After downloading the new version, the message shows - "The procedure entry point GetProcessImageFileNameW could not be located in the dynamic link library PSAPI.DLL" and wakoopa won't start.
I tried renaming all PSAPI.dll files except the one in system32, but it didn't help. I run Windows 2000.
Since upgrading the tracker to 1.0.5 it crashes as soon as I log on. Have tried deleting and reinstalling but as as soon as it starts it crashes. Just get a windows error message saying that Wakoopa has encountered a problem and do you want to send an error report to MS.
