While updating the Software profiles "Download" links Setup URLs starting with ftp:// are rejected.
Expected: ftp:// download links should be accepted.

Inappropriate?Urls starting with ftp:// are already supported. Maybe the url you tried to enter was invalid? Could you give an example of an URL that wasn't excepted?

Inappropriate?I have tested today, with ftp://ftp.freebsd.org/pub/FreeBSD/ls-lR.gz it worked fine, but the other day, i used a link, which worked when i used the browser, and was able to see the file popup and ready to download, but wakoopa rejected it. Today i had a different experience ftp://ftp.mimuw.edu.pl/People/zbyszek/SSHSecureShellClient-3.2.9.exe while downloading this file from wakoopa redirected, please enter this link into the browser directly to check if the link is working, and add the link to the application profile and then check, that after redirectory, it adds another (/) forward slash. tested on firefox and internet explorer. -
Inappropriate?Can't seem to reproduce this. Also, we don't redirect to any urls, we just open the url people provide in an iframe. Opening a file a an iframe may yield unexpected results.
In general it may be a better idea to provide a link to a download overview page from where people can always download the latest version.
