Reason to add new contact should be stated
Until recently you could get points by adding contacts. Because of abuse that was stopped - as I understand it. People that already has tons of contacts still try to add you as a new contact. Those I ignore. Maybe they haven't found out that they can't make points that way. Anyways, I suggest that anyone trying to add one as a contact MUST state a short reason for doing so. That wont be foolproof but worth a try. As it is now, one never knows why one is asked to be a contact.

Inappropriate?I see you're reasoning behind this. However, sometimes I just add a contact because I think he or she is an interesting person to follow. There's not really a good reason.
Now that we've stopped giving points for making friends, we're already seeing a decline in friend-request spam.

Inappropriate?I've a huge reason to add contacts: to know how new app are using. You can see it's detailed in your dashboards and is a good way to discover other programs and read reviews.
Sure, oher people can abuse the system to get points; this is not my goal.

Hi batkra, then you have a reason to add contacts... And you can easily jot that down when adding a new contact.
