software versions beta or not
As a Paint.NET user, I got an program update message this week. I'm using v.3.36, and when I go to the Paint.NET site, the new 3.5 version is still in beta1.
But on the wakoopa site, all 3.5(0) versions are marked stable. I'm not saying a beta can't be stable :) , but it would be nice to have some way to see if a new version is beta or not.
(And so, if I don't want to use betas, can I update to the new version or should I wait until it's out of beta (if so)....)

Inappropriate?Oh my, for each version it IS already set if the version is stable, alpha or beta. My remark should then be that the version type information is incorrect....
How is this information gathered?
I’m amused
