I too have encountered this issue.
I started the http://wakoopa.com/teams/leopard team and it appears someone else has become the manager. I don't understand how this has happened as I have been an active member and have been using the tracker and reviewing software etc.

Inappropriate?Is it possible to have more than one team manager? Maybe up to three? That way you could insure that the creator of the team is able to manage everything without stripping the current manager of their privileges.

Some people don't even deserve to be team manager though, it should have just been auto'd to the creator. It would've be sick if the creators could become the manager, and add other managers though. -
Inappropriate?Our apologies for this issue. Promoting the oldest member to manager was our only option at this point and judging by your comments this wasn't 100% fail safe.
I'm looking into why this went wrong for some cases and in the mean time I'll promote you guys to managers for the respective teams.
And yes, multiple managers is possible. Managers appointing other manager not yet. -

I wouldn't mind being the manager for at least one of the following teams because no one has added an icon or description and this is really annoying.

The guy who was set to admin from the beginning, is still admin.
Which I was fine with, but he hasn't even contributed anything to the group.
Could you remove him as manager?

Yeah. It annoys me that people get the privilege of being a team manager but don't fulfill the responsibility of maintaining the teams details. I would like to see the lazy inactive managers on the teams I sub-manage kicked off!
