having worked at a walmart, the cashier was probably told to close their line because it was time for them to leave (and walmart dose not like to pay over time) Dont even think of blaming an hourly associate for much of anything you find wrong with the store (they are only doing what they were told to do because they want to keep their job)... the only time you can blame them is if they are rude to you for no reason (that is their problem) If you have a problem with long lines talk to the managers and explain that you think it is a good idea for them to have more cashiers at 11pm at night. If a manager turns their back on you, file a complaint by calling 800-wal-mart.

Just remember... the moment you get an attitude or think that you deserve better treatment or think that you are more important than something that is already going on... you have already lost the interest of the associate trying to help you. In this world you get better and more helpful service by being nice to those who are trying to help.
