Not recieving the service i paid for
In August I sent for 2 albums to be process to ALL stores that Watunes offers, seeing that I am a VIP member and have been since I first started. These albums are the first releases I have done with them. Being a record label I have spent money on advertising and promotion for these 2 acts with the certainty that if i distribute through WaTunes they will deliever my music within the 4 weeks period they stated on the VIP service.
We are now in October, the middle of October to be exact and still nothing has been done. I have ample amount of emails stating that 'we are working round the clock' to have this release on ITunes, which is all good but what about the other stores my money paid for. For which i was told that new system is coming into place for the other stores and it's not going to be delivered there until ??????
My argument is, if i have paid for a service which you do not have in place yet, is this illegal?
With the updates they have in place there has been no mention of a new service being installed or a delay in all VIP services. What makes it worse is that there is now a list of all the 50+ stores on their blog which was updated a few days ago but still no mention that all VIP services are on hold.
I have asked for a refund which i have been told is impossible and that they can only offer another year free which i think is a total joke. It's like being forced in a relationship with someone you starting to dislike.
I had full trust and done alot of research of Watunes before I put any money into it. Now i feel like im being screwed over and im all im getting is emails stating that i should wait a few more days. I'm now completely over the time period of when this release has gone out and already £500 out of pocket because of these jokers.
I would rather someone over promise me and tell me that the release will be done in another few weeks rather than palm me with an underpromise off saying wait a few more days. And while i sit in my office having to speak to managers and artists week after week telling them lies to keep them passive and buy me more time, my intergrity is at risk because Watunes can't just be honest with me for once. I have never had to complain about a company in my life other than McDonalds ill treating their staff. I am not a person who complains and tries not to give alternatives to improve the service. But I have had all that i can bear and I don't like people questioning my values as a business as well. I am really really upset with WaTunes and would like my music distributed asap, to all stores as advertised. For the 20th time
