Royalty Payment Please!! What Do I Need To Do?
Re: royalty payment for artist Arik Marshall
I'm just trying to find out when and how I receive my royalty payment. I have sales in all three quarters of 2008 and have yet to receive one payment. I sent my paypal account email address months ago as instructed, but am still waiting. What do I need to do now to ensure payment.
In addition, if I was a watunes memeber prior to membership fee being instituted do I have to now pay in order to re-sign and re-upload my content?
Thanks in advance for your response!

Hi Arik,
I apologize for the late reply. Please shoot an e-mail to our Royalty deparment at sales@watunes.com and either myself or one of our staff will consult with you regarding your payment.
As of now we're waiving all fees for every customer until we integrate eMusic into our XDI software. Once this is completed, WaTunes will go subscription-only and offer the following services for a $10 a month subscription fee:
- Selecting which stores you want to be made available
- Earn 100% of your royalties
- Invite friends to listen to your music to help boost sales
- Earn monthly payments instead of quarterly.
To ensure that we can cover our infrastructure and new maintenance cost, we require ALL customers (including previous customers) to submit the fee in order to be placed on eMusic and other store services. Since you are already a previous customer, you'll have to re-sign up and re-upload any previous content you've delivered to us in the past to ensure that we can help you manage your content much more efficiently. As it stands, we're enabling everyone to upload as much content as possible before we integrate eMusic to help increase sales and help provide other incentives.
Best,
Kevin

This is not quite clear to me Kevin. Are you saying that all artists, including those who's music is already available through iTunes, Amazon, e-music etc. will have to pay $10,00 a month once you get the new e-music thing up and running? -
Yes, that is correct. Due to our server and maintenance cost. We believe that it is best to go this route to make sure we're able to provide a better service for you. To equate the lost of the membership fees that has all ready been submitted to us in the past, we felt that it was best to provide a 100% royalty method as well as a monthly payment policy to make sure that you're earning the full benefit of what the site can offer. If you would like to learn more through a conference meeting please contact our Skype Deparment.

Inappropriate?Hi cdaar,
I will make the announcement of the site changes and updates this Friday. I do apologize for the huge delay in the process and I know how frustrating this is for you. Believe me when I say that I will provide a special incentive for all customers who are still with our service by the end of the year for these major delays. As of now we're moving to complete the eMusic service into our software within a couple of days and will integrate iTunes within November.
Once again I apologize for any frustration we've caused and I'm working on providing a way to compensate for the delay. You can count on it!
