With all the changes, what is my status?
OK, I am totally confused.
I was a "customer" of WaTunes back when it cost nothing to submit albums. I updated one album at that time, and indeed it found its way to iTunes, Amazon, et al.
Then the transition to WaTunes 2 happened. All the correspondance said that previous customers would be grandfathered in and remain free. I went ahead and uploaded several albums at that time.
However, my Account Dashboard shows a $25 invoice.
Then the email of November 2nd says you're switching to a $10/month subscription.
I'm confused as to what exactly my status is. Specifically I have three questions:
1) How much do I, personally, need to pay to remain a WaTunes member in good standing?
2) What happens to my music (on iTunes, etc) if I terminate my $10/month subscription at some point in the future?
3) What guarantee do I have that WaTunes won't do another about face on pricing policy in the near future? From what I've been through, there have been 3 different pricing schemes in less than a year. I'm not saying that any of them are expensive or unfair. Just that the continual changes make my status as a customer quite confusing.

Inappropriate?Hi Funkboy,
Because you are a previous member of the WaTunes service heres the scoop for you:
For question number 1:
- You can submit your $10 a month fee optional until January 1st, 2009. (However if you submit now, we'll provide you with special incentives including our marketing & promotional services)
- You'll now earn 100% of all royalties from any content you've delivered to us in the past.
- Sell unlimited songs and albums continually
- Get your own artist profile and album pages
- And more!
To answer question number 2:
If you wish to terminate your account, we will remove all contents from every music store services and we will closed your subscription fee.
And for question 3:
This new subscription system will be our permanent business model from now on. This will enable us to provide a greater service for you as well as enable us to ensure our cost and other company expenditures.
