How important are ethics in product choice?
When people are looking to purchase a product or service, what importance is placed on the ethics of the business, product or service?

Inappropriate?Personally I will buy one product over another if that product is produced by a company that thinks about renewablity and ethics in it's business. I will pay the little bit extra to buy an ethically produced product over one that is not.
it is hard sometimes to find information about how a product is produced.
I’m confident that more companies will think about the ethics of their product in the future

Inappropriate?this looks lie a men only site...i would never wear the t-shirts you have...and the price is unbeievable...i had an advertising specialties biz in ny...i bought plenty of imprinted t-shirts for clients like major banks and liquor companies...the calendar displayed is also a male item...and the nipple meter is just plain yuk!!!!!!!!!!!!!
I’m annoyed

You are correct, our demographics are predominantly male, probably the same breakdown as those who watch formula one or other male related activities. We have several woman fans also, but yes mostly male.
As for the pricing, remember that the prices are in New Zealand dollars by default.
This brings me back to the original question, the base t-shirt is made by an ethical textile company and the base cost of the shirt is about 3 times that of a cheap sweatshop alternative. I realise for a lot of people, a cheap price is more important than the ethics of the manufacture and how they treat their employees or if they employee children keeping them out of school and paying them a pitance and keeping them in appalling working conditions - this was my original question, do people actually look at whether textiles are made ethically or not? I hope one day the majority will ask - how was this item of clothing made and weigh this more highly over how cheap is it.
