Why does Wesabe not support adding entries using email?
Many other personal financial management applications on the web allow users to add a transaction by merely sending an email to an email address.
Do you plan to introduce this as a feature sometime in 2008?

We've added this feature to Wesabe Labs for testing. Head here if you want to try it out:

I’m happy we got it done

Mark,
I don't agree that this is true generally -- many people tell us how happy their our with our turnaround time, and still feel that way today -- but I certainly agree it is true with this feature. We do actually have this complete and working and we're testing it now. We'll add it to Wesabe Labs and make sure it works, then roll it out.
Thanks for the prompt on this, and sorry that it has taken so long to get this feature done.
I’m bummed.

Hey, Patek,
I agree, this would be very useful, and yes, I expect that we'll add it soon. I think there are a lot of uses for getting information into Wesabe via email.
For now, you can enter cash transactions using the mobile site, m.wesabe.com. That's not what you're asking for but may help stand in until we can implement email entry.
Thanks much for the suggestion.
I’m bummed we can't implement all of the good features at once!

Inappropriate?Marc,
Were you guys able to look at this feature? It'd be real useful.
Thank you, for an otherwise useful application... -
Inappropriate?Wesabe is slowly becoming one of those "they once had great responsiveness" category of apps.
While other personal finance management tools have moved on by providing users with new features. Wesabe has slowly, but surely, got to a state where new features take months to materialize.
Email-based account updates should have been a feature a long back.
I suggest you research more such apps, and choose one that provides more features. -
