I'm using a My Book Essential Edition. It used to show up as my E drive, but it has disappeared. Where did it go and how do I get it back? I've restarted and tried different cables, but it's still not showing up.
I know it's only $24 + tax for ~720 days or about 2 years. BUT is it really worth it? have you ever bought an extended warranty for a WD hard disk before? and If something went wrong did you get your HD replaced or fixed?
I personally have never had any problems with WD hard disks, so I am trying to find a reason why I would need to expand my warranty beyond the 1 year included. Anybody would like to share their experience?
