bad service,fairfax
Why do some of the prepared foods people at fairfax in LA, treat the customers as if they were an imposition on their time?Thursday night, almost closing, and I must have interrupted a woman worker and a man worker behind pizza. They were heavy into conversation in Spanish and cutting pizza for each other! Finally another man came over to help. When he was done she made a joke about the "mujer" and looking at me broke into peals of laughter.Though Fairfax is closest to me, I prefer to go to the further away Farmers Market. They act like they care!

Inappropriate?Hello Debbie,
I am very sorry to hear bout your experience in the Fairfax store. We always seek to satisfy and delight our customers by providing excellent customer service, and this sounds like an opportunity to retrain some of our Team Members. I have shared your comments with Fairfax store leadership and the region. If you experience any problems in the future, please ask to speak to store leadership and they would be happy to address your concerns.
Thank you,

Inappropriate?Hey Debbie,
I've just heard about getsatisfaction.com and was delighted to see your post because of issues I have at WF...unfortunately, my issue is with the store on 3rd at Fairfax (the Farmer Market store) which has the single worst record (in my opinion) of customer service I've ever endured. I actually now do my shopping over on the west side once a week (at the new Rose and Lincoln store) and just don't go anymore to the store near me because their service is so bad. perhaps this means the WF's in LA in general are just bad, and you have to search to find the good ones. it's a pity because I want to support the WF's philosophy. My question to Carijane then is does WF have a system of secret shoppers who can give feedback on customer service?

Inappropriate?Hi Kathleen,
Yes, Whole Foods does have a secret shopper program. Third party secret shoppers evaluate each department in our stores and give their feedback. In addition to the secret shopper program, we are always open to customer comments in person at the store, by phone, or by email.
Thanks,
Carijane
