No Italian sandwich press for panini sandwiches in RWC?
The WFM store in Redwood city does not seem to have an Italian sandwich press to toast its paninis. As a result, the paninis there are not toasted properly. The are open and placed a conveyor toaster. While it eats up the bread, it does not have the same effect of flatening and toasting the outside of the bread the way a real panini toaster would. It also seem to overly dry the inside of the sandwich. The WFM store in San Mateo does it with a panini toaster and their panini are 100x better. I used to go there all the time and after my experience in Redwood City will probably no longer order those there. Why such inconsistency? I want my genuine panini back!

Inappropriate?Hi Georges,
We are very sorry to hear you are disappointed with the toasted sandwiches at the Redwood City store. At Whole Foods Market our recipes are often developed by our in store chefs. We think this helps each of our stores cater to the unique local community the store is in. I will let the Redwood City store know that you are disappointed with the quality of the sandwiches toasted in the conveyor toaster. Please know that, in the future, we are always happy to offer you a refund if you are not satisfied with your purchases.
Thanks for sharing your feedback,
Rachael
