Support for multiple tags in fields

What I mean is the ability to have more than one tag in fields such as ARTIST or GENRE simply by using a separator such as the semicolon (;) and having the software recognize this and sub-sort accordingly. For example, if you tag an MP3 with "Rock; Jazz" in the GENRE field, Media Library puts the song or songs under both Rock and Jazz.
