can I delete windows live photo gallery in windows XP

I have windows xp sp2 and installed windows Live Photo Gallery. I NO longer want or need it. Some of my Mail in Outlook express won't open. It pops up I might need to upgrade WLPG..which I even tried that ...NO GO.
I want to UNINSTALL windows Live Photo Gallery with no problems, of error message (which I read some poeple are getting.) So help me...can I unistall this, in windows xp with no problems...help
