rss feed on wordpress showing wrong date messing with twitterfeed

I am having an issue with the rss feed generated from wordpress. I am saving several post at a time and setting them to automatically post on futeure dates. The issue is the rss feed is showing them posted on dates I saved them and updating on the actual dates they automatically go live. This causes an issue with twitterfeed since the rss showed it posted a week or so before it actually posted. i posted this on twitterfeed support and they said it was a wordpress issue.
