I want to take a Wordpress default RSS feed, pump it through Yahoo Pipes, into Feedburner, then make browsers see it as the default WP feed.

Hey Wil, have you tried feedburner's feedsmith plugin?

Take your Wordpress rss feed, pump it to yahoo pipes and create feedburner feed from that. Then install feesmith and tell it to use that new feed.
