I like your theme very much.
How diffucult it would be to make the front page static? What I mean is that the 3 post would not be linked to categories, but to pages?

Glad you like the theme! Making the front page static would be easy. Here's how to do it:
1) Create a new category called 'frontpage'.
2) Choose the posts you want to see on the front page by editing them and checking the 'frontpage' category.
3) Change the Ice Cream Dream setting to use the 'frontpage' category in the homepage settings (see 2.5 in the theme documentation).
That's it! As long as you don't add anything else to the frontpage category, your website homepage will now act as a static page.
