Remove Blog Functions from Posts
I would like to remove the sidebar and comments from category posts... I have removed the sidebar from the pages (page, catpage), and adjusted the size to 21 append-1 and it looks great. I cannot find the section to remove the comments and sidebar from the individual posts

Inappropriate? To roll your changes across individual blog posts as well as your category and page templates, just duplicate your modified 'index.php' page in the ice-cream-dream theme folder and rename it 'single.php'.
That should be all you need -- let me know if not and I'll do my best to help.

Inappropriate?ok, I am confused then. what page, or template is driving the individual posts that have the comments and sidebar on them then. If I am copying the index page, and calling it "single" then this will be a page template, and not a category template. Therefore, this would not really solve the problem.

Inappropriate? The single.php template is the one that's shown when a visitor requests an individual post.
If you duplicate the index.php page (which is what currently gets shown for a single post), call it single.php, and then apply the same changes to remove the sidebar that you did to the pages.php and catpage.php templates, you should find that the sidebar disappears when you view a single post.
Feel free to email help@wordprezzie.com if you'd like us to take a look at the installation itself and give you a hand in making the change.
