Real Fileserver - Share Folder as Drive?

Can I use wuala as a fileserver? The SMB-protocol is activated but I want to share one folder for certain persons so that they can add a new drive on their computers with wuala.

After downloading and extracting the wuala tar file I do the setups as described in the readme file when I try to start the wuala script but no windows appears a second trial bash tell me that wuala is already running ? what's wrong ? thanks for your response

Ich habe auf meinem System (XP) das Problem, dass es trotz ausreichendem Speicherausbau nach dem Öffnen relativ vieler Browser-Fenster irgendwann verstopft ist, wenn keine Handles mehr zur Verfügung stehen. Das heisst, es lässt sich nichts mehr starten oder öffnen, egal was.

Wuala konsumiert schon allein beim Start um die 2000 Handles (zum Vergleich: eMule etwa 300), sodass sich das Problem erheblich verschärft, wenn Wuala gestartet ist.

Die Anzahl verwendeter Handles sollte dringend reduziert werden!

Change data folder without lossing current files

Hello,

I have installed a new external hard disk.
I'd like to change my current Wuala Data folder to D:\WualaData

What is the correct procedure to make this change?
(so that current data stored in c:\program files\caleido\wuala\data is not lost)
