searching for friends - substring search - please add functionality

when searching for friends (nicknames) in the wuala database certain substring searches seem not to work:

searching for abcdefg
gives results:
abcdefg....
abcdefghijkl
abcdefghijklmn1234

but not the results for example

aabcdefghijk
aabcdefghijklm...
abcdabcdefghijklm....

we need more fancy search possibilities. thanks.

Can't add to friends

I can't add anyone as a friend. I always get this error:

I tried this both on windows and mac. Any ideia?
