wuala commandline (linux, *nix (macosx)) improvements (history) Last reply on June 10, 2008 05:46.
hi there,
would be great if the wuala commandline would be more comfortable like command-completion, command-history and all these little features that come with todays normal commandline shells like bash, and so on....
also, maybe its possible to create a wuala core (worker) thread/process to which the wuala commandline client (control interface) could connect. therefore the restart on update and all this stuff would be much easier.
i think the amule project works similar to that, that they created a worker daemon and the commandline control utility simply transfers commands/statusmessages and queries the actual working core/daemon.
there is also an amule webinterface wich is only a frontend to the actual working daemon in the background.
this way there could be several frontends like the current gui stuff on varying os systems and the backend being universal. all this could be realized in java i guess and could be less platform dependant during development and so on.
thanks and cheers. -

Server Version? Last reply on May 22, 2008 20:43.
i have a server at home which is running 24h a day on which wuala always runs, and some other pc's where im working on with wuala.
Now my questions:
- is it possible to get a server version of wuala which can autonomous restart and update? the only way i realized that wuala had an error and was stopped, was the decrease of available space!
- Would it be possible to get special rights for running a server 24h?
I gained 300Gb of space while server is running, but doesnt really need so much of space. But im interested in sharing this space in my groups, like a upload directory on a server.
Or a other nice feature would be the possibility to mirror my personal files on my fileserver @home to wuala.
thx for answers.

How to run Wuala on a Linux server Last reply on April 13, 2008 03:33.
I'd like to know how to run Wuala on a Linux server (with no X server) that is always online.
Currently I launch Wuala using "wualacmd" then I use the "login" and "startTrading" commands.
Could I do all that automatically? (actually do I need to execute these commands? or just automatically start wualacmd would be enough?)

Add Feature: Automatic Update Last reply on March 21, 2008 16:35.
Hi,
If I recall corrently, I have alrealdy once posted this but I'l do it again: I would like to have a feature which automatically updates Wuala without me constantly having to exit and restart wuala (It should probably be optional). This feature would by now save me a great deal of time considering that my server is (after some windows-inflicted downtime) now up for 21 days in a row and I have approximately 10 times had to go there and exit/restart wuala just to check for any updates.
