Tooltip on files and folders

It would be great to have tooltips displayed on files and folders.
Currently when you have files or folders with long names you have to click on them to see their entire name ; it would be easier to display their entire name when you hover them with the mouse.
(and maybe additional infos could be displayed in the tooltips)
