On win xp pro sp2 64 bit:
filesystem integration is not ready.
When I press "check" button I see grre marks on first 2 items, and red with "network drive connected" and "fs integration working".
My computer have 2 ethernet interface.
Now can I fix problem?

Tag Leute,
jedes mal wenn ich Wuala starte, Kommt kurz der Login / Willkommen Screen und das Tray Icon. Nach ca 1sek stürzt das Programm ab. Ohne Fehlermeldung oder sonst was.
I have tried to upload these files to a group several times (and then also tired uploading them to my (private) files. Whenever I tried, the encryption process runs well and then they appear in the folder where I wanted to upload them to, but:
- there's no upload activity
- when I look at their properties (in wuala), their state remains "local"
This only happens with certain files and I still have space and can upload other files just like before.
Could the reason be that those files are on wuala already (could be possible, they were once publicly available as free downloads)?
Or is this some sort of bug?
Absolutely nothing happens when I click the "Get more by Invite friends to Wuala" link in the bottom right-hand corner of the app. I haven't used any invites yet.
I am running openSUSE 10.3 and want to add the NFS support to my Wuala install. The instructions say to run "apt-get install nfs-common", which sounds like what you should do if you're running Ubuntu. However, on openSUSE I don't see any package called nfs-common. I already have the following installed by default:
nfs-client
mfsidmap
yast2-nfs-client
There are also a few more available, which I do not have installed:
nfs-kernel-server
nfs-server
yast2-nfs-server
Do you know if any of these are an equivalent to nfs-common or if any of the additional YaST package repositories like Packman has the package available?
Wenn ich wuala starte (Macbook Pro, 10.4.11), stüs sofort wieder ab.
Es gibt keine Fehlermeldung, nur das Programmsymbol hünmal im Dock auf und ab, danach verschwindet es wieder.
Wuala stopped working after I just installed the very latest version of Java, JRE 6u6, and crashes right away at startup with a "NoClassDefFoundError".
It has happened twice already. yesterday and today (i have installed wuala for over a week). threatfire considers it a high security risk. i've temporarily allowed wuala to run even though i can't imagine why keylogging is needed.
What could trigger this? Is it a false positive or is there some security issue we should know about?
I got a problem inviting friends, a pop-up says:
"Email-Adressen konnten nicht importiert werden.
Ursache: Connection refused"
... tried several times in various settings ...
Maybe anybody knows a solution ... ?
Want to talk with us? Then join our first "Chat Thursday"! It's taking place today (Thursday, April 24) from 5pm to 6pm (Central European Time, GMT+1, we're based in Zurich, Switzerland) on IRC (Server: quakenet.org, Channel: #Wuala or http://irc.wua.la).
During the creation of my username I had a problem with internet connection.
After I restarted wuala but I have this message box:
Sign in failed.
Reason: Element never existed, [1, 19935, 1]
I would like the folder tree to expand automatically when I drag a file from Windows into Wuala. Now you either have to open the target subfolder first, or drop the file into some other folder. As you know in most file managers you can "climb" the folder tree down.
Hope this is possible!
Best regards
It seems I couldn't load wuala under GNU/Linux 64 bits.
I've got an error when I try ./wuala in a console.
The error :

when I try to upload a file into a shared folder I get this error message: "Transaktion153 fehlgeschlagen. ... Element is not in cache, [some numbers]". The folder is set on "shared with all and future friends". Uploading the same file into a privat or public folder and then copy it into the shared folder works fine.
I'm running Build 426 on WinXP SP2.
It would be nice to be able to pre allocate shared storage space, to avoid file system fragmentation. Even if this method allocated large blocks of space, like 1 gb at a time, it would still reduce the fragmentation.
today i sent invites out with skype, but as the skype windows opened there was only the message "null" sent - maybe the update wuala installed today did nothing good to skype inviting...
however i could recover the invites under the friends page by opening an invited friend, read the message that should have been sent and resend them manually.
but still it's much more comfortable to let wuala do the work ;)
I noticed that random mp3 files will not play. I opened the wuala gui and found that these files are now only 1k in length. I have the files all downloaded to my Windows XP machine and imported into iTunes over the W drive. I opened one of the 1k files in Notepad and found that it only contains the ID3 tag. I suspect at some point that iTunes decided to update the tag and the filesystem rewrote the entire file as opposed to just updating the tag.
Any ideas?
The file is clearly marked as downloaded in the UI so I'm not sure what else I can do.
Wuala says "0.00 GB of 1 GB used" at the bottom; but when I try to add a folder to wuala that is 309 MB, wuala replies: "The files you want to insert have a total size of 4.3 GB but you have only 1022 MB of free storage left."
Does wuala store the files larger than they are on my filesystem?
Is wuala incorrectly calculating the size of my folder?
I am using wuala on Debian Linux, here is the information from About Wuala: "Alpha Linux (On Demand) 93 (ok)".
Thank you.
