[Mac OS 10.5] Wrong IP interface picked
When you have Fusion running on the Mac, there are 2 extra network interfaces: vmnet1 and vmnet8. For some reason, Wuala is using these as the origination IP address instead of using en0/en1 depending on which one is up.
How can I kick Wuala into using the current default IP interface?
Thanks,
Wout.

Inappropriate?this is an ancient issue no matter what platform wuala is being ran on.
lots of ppl from the community have asked wuala/caleido before to allow the settings to what interface/ip/adresses to bind to and how to communicate.
to no avail so far.....
sucks.

Inappropriate?I don't know how it is for Mac OSX, but if found some kind of workaround for linux (works if the problem is a vmware interface):
Just execute "/etc/init.d/vmware stop" as root before starting wuala.
If vmnet interfaces are the only problematic interfaces, wuala will afterwards detect your correct private ip!
This is surely not the best way and I'm therefore still frustrated about this....
Please Caleido: Implement this feature / Fix this bug as fast as you can!!!
