Cancelled/expired invitation updates invite count
It might be an idea to let invitation codes reset after a month or so, if not used by the invitee.
Or at least make it possible to manually cancel an invite, with an update of the invite counter.
That way you can re-use your invites when people decide to not register in the end.
Before I knew this wasn't the case, I cancelled some invites so I'm still left w/h any invitations...

Inappropriate?You can cancel in invite, but as you mentioned, the invite counter isn't adjusted. We won't fix that, as you will get new invitations soon, and furthermore, this will change with the beta release.
For the meantime, I've adjusted your invitation counter (if your Wuala-Username is pyramus too ;)) and gave you some additional invites.
