Client Colors
Client does not respect OS theme colors - I see white text on a white background, and cannot read it without changing to a different OS theme.

Inappropriate?_Which_ OS do you have? Windows (which version)? Linux (which distribution)? OS X (which version)?
I’m confused

Inappropriate?I'm running XP Pro.
This usually happens to me when an application explicitly sets one color (background to white) but leaves the other color at it's default value (normally, black, in my case, white)

Inappropriate?I also just recreated the bug on Ubuntu using one of the standard "inverse" themes

Inappropriate? Thanks for reporting, we'll have to look at this after the release of the beta.

Inappropriate?Same here on Fedora 9 (Gnome Session) if an "inverted" theme (dark background / light text colors) is being used.
To better illustrate the problem, and to show a way how to reproduce, I made a short screencast:

It seems all background colors and a few text colors are hardcoded. Its good to know its being looked at soon, though ;)
Cheers,
