Inappropriate?yes, it's annoying that this part of the infrastructure can bring wuala partially down. but we'll replicate this soon as well, so that this won't happen anymore. we're terribly sorry about the downtime and we're working hard to bring wuala back as soon as possible.

Inappropriate?I'm glad Wuala is still accessible even though it is read-only. I remember one of the reasons Friendster sucked for a long time was because there was high load due to SQL counts of friends. I'm glad you guys are optimizing and considering ways to provide good service while disabling certain features. I think this is good idea overall to disable certain Wuala functions temporarily if the server load is too high. Then keep disabling functions until you reach acceptable load for servers. -

Inappropriate?Loss of files would require catastrophic failure of Caleido servers. Doesn't seem very hard to do that...

Inappropriate?Everything is back to normal as far as i know. If you are having problems still let us know. Some tryied to create accounts during that time and had to have them fixed/nuked.
