Inappropriate?try downloading this:
http://wua.la/TV+Watchers/Mythbusters...
I know that file is good. Tell me what happens. Also, are you using file system integration. -
Inappropriate?Hello!
OK, I started the download and it did download 5% quite fast ~600 kb/s and then it stopped and now the file is back to 0%.
And yes I use file system integration, I have a new drive in windows explorer.
( I started the download again and it was a bit faster ~750kb/s and it got to 6% and then it stopped again and went back to 0% )
This going back to 0% is new ...
I’m sad
-
Inappropriate?OK, now i cleared my cache and my download list and now it won't go back to 0% but still the download will last about 30 seconds and then stop.
Why won't it continue or resume? Very annoying.
I’m frustrated
-
Inappropriate?Does the green/yellow/red status circle in the bottom left change while downloading?
-
Inappropriate?Hello.
No, it does not. -
Inappropriate?I still have that problem.
Wuala is totally unusable for me. Linux and Windows.
I’m frustrated
-
Inappropriate? In wuala click ctrl+alt+d Be careful in this menu, some things no one knows what they do. Choose "Packet Loss Meter". Let it run for ~1minute and then let use know what the 2 values are.

Inappropriate?Hello,
Roundtrip time changes a lot. It is at around 60-70 when i do not download anything and around 20-30 when I do.
Reliabiltiy is always at 100%. -
Inappropriate?i'm at a loss. I can't think of what would cause that.

Inappropriate?Strange... does it also happen if you are connected directly to the internet, without router in between? (Assuming there is a router. :) )
-
Inappropriate?I cannot connect without my router. But it is uptodate DD-WRT router tuned for bittorrent and emule .. it never caused any problems..
-
Inappropriate?I love DD-WRT.
-
Inappropriate?What is your operating system?
-
Inappropriate? It happens a lot in Windows XP.
A lot less in ArchLinux. -
Inappropriate?I'm thinking its a problem with your network / isp. The question is how to identify the problem so we can correct it.

Inappropriate?YAY!!
I think I found THE BUG! *jumps up and down* ( _proudly_ )
If you have a lot of download bandwidth and don't allow enough upload Wuala will get to a point where it does not receive enough confirmation packets and the download will die.
So I guess you have to link the download speed to the upload speed so that combinations like 1.5 MB download and 10 KB upload are not possible anymore.
Please tell me that I am right! ;)
I’m confident
-
Inappropriate?Could make sence. Does a dev know if responce packets run through the speed limiter? And why it would take 10k of responces for 1.5M down? That is... alot.
-
Inappropriate?I am pretty sure that was the problem .. it would explain why the same setting ran on Linux a bit better than under XP ( Linux TCP is more efficient )
And my probs are mostly gone now! YAY!
I’m happy
-
Inappropriate?Wuala file x-fer uses UDP.
-
Inappropriate? The timeouts on linux may be a bit different. The Java VM on linux may handle connections a little different. Hard to say. Overall it is still a good bet that it is the cause.
