File corruption
I have a .wma file that consistently fails a binary file comparison after being copied into Wuala. Partial output from fc/b (correct version on right):

Inappropriate?I have placed a good zip of the file and the corrupted file in a folder shared with Luzius.
-
Inappropriate?I've discovered two more files that consistently become corrupted when imported into Wuala. This is bad, and I hope it is addressed soon.
-
Inappropriate?Corruption still exists in build 355.
-
Inappropriate?I haven't done any comparison but I have a couple of songs that slow down a bit in some parts of the music. That slow down doesn't exist in the original files.
EDIT: I've used the 'diff' command on a song and it differs from the file uploaded. This file was uploaded on mac some time ago and now downloaded again on the same mac.
I’m sad and I hope to see this fixed soon

Inappropriate? The corruption still occurs in build 358. I'm disappointed that there appears to be no action on this.
Is anyone else checking the integrity of their uploads? -
Inappropriate?I deleted all of the files in my Wuala\Data\Local folder, and the problematic files now store and retrieve correctly. Apparently once a file is imported into Wuala, it stays in the Local folder *even if deleted from Wuala and re-introduced* which is why I kept seeing the corruption.
When I delete a file in Wuala, shouldn't the corresponding file in the local cache be deleted, too? -
Inappropriate?Does that mean the problem has been solved?
I think the deletion of files in local backup is not immediat. -
Inappropriate?I couldn't really say since I don't know what caused the original corruption. Since it took me a while to recognize that the corruption existed in the local cache and not in the adding process, I don't even know which build may have fixed it either.
I don't see the Local folder cleared out even hours after the deletion takes place and Wuala is otherwise idle. My local folder actually got up to 11.3GB in size which is far beyond my limit of 3.8GB, so hitting the limit doesn't seem to trigger cleanup of the local folder either.
