Filesystem integration: "Please remove the write protection" when copying several files
Generally the filesystem integration works on my vista.
But every time I copy several (20-50) files to my wuala space, I get "Please remove the write protection" in Total Commander.
I hit "Retry" and it continues copying and stops again after a few files.
****** Many times the whole system does not respond for 2-5 minutes. ******
I understand that I can use the wuala client to copy large files but when I need to compare the source and the target folders and hundreds of files then it is much more complicated that way.
Is it because some cache gets full? Is there a way to avoid this problem?
The local cache size is set to 100GB!

Inappropriate? Here's (I think) why this happens
When you copy files into Wuala using the network drive Wuala will start immediately to encrypt and store the file (= fragments) for upload.
I already suggested a cache for the network drive, because if there isn't one you experience the described problem: the system has to way for Wuala to finish.
When comparing Wuala sometimes needs to download the file into the cache if it's not already there. I also set the cache to 100GB but experienced the same problem
The only workaround right now is to drag files into Wuala instead.
Hope this is solved in a future version, because if you copy a lot of files with the network drive the whole system freezes, waits and unfreezes again -
Most of the problems I've noted are because Wuala only supports accessing 1 file at a time via FSI. -
Inappropriate?Dear Deathbob, please explain!
As far as I know when I copy several files, they are copied one by one. So there is no need to handle more than one file at the same time.
So what does "Wuala only supports accessing 1 file at a time" mean? -
Wuala doesn't like closing one file (finished copying) to opening next file (start copying). Wuala will sometimes then return a status saying it's not ready and it can freak out programs. -
Inappropriate?and i am still waiting for a feature to implement read-only folders and sharing for archiving purposes to prohibit accidental changes or modification to contents.
