Group bugs
After you fixed (most) of the filesystem stuff and the stuck@20 GB bug (yay!) I think it's now time to officially report a few other bugs I encoutered:
- "File stealing" (critical imho...)
Only access with rights for adding and modifying own files needed!
* Right click on any file
* Select "Copy File (NOT "Copy link!")
* Now select "Paste" ANYWHERE! It can be in any other group (then you don't even get "charged" for the space) or even any OPEN folder you own!
I havent tried yet what happens if the original owner decides to remove the file from Wuala, but it might be possible that you could still keep a copy of the file in a private 1-person group (to not get charged for the space) as long as your account exists, or you could at least copy the files to your own folders and keep them stored there.
- Tree view bug:
(I am in 4 groups, 1 public, 3 private one, 2 of the private groups are rather large and have at least a few dozen folders and hundreds of files, if this might be a caching problem)
* enable tree view (Hellooo Capitain Obvious! :D)
* click on the name of the first group in tree view (does "work" with any group...)
* now try to navigate in the tree with your keyboard (arrow keys)
Sometimes it works, most of the time not, I even got Wuala to a point where every Frame flickered like mad for about a minute!
- Reset bug
* Go to your "My Groups" Tab (Wheee, it's Capitain Obvious again!)
* Tree view or not doesn't matter (btw. it sucks that tree view gets disabled on shutdown and randomly within a session sometimes... especially when browsing "World" files...)
* "Open" a group
* Click on any member to view comments for example

This also happens when navigating through folders of a group sometimes and can be _very_ irritating after some time.
Again I want to say that I don't want to rant or cry about Wuala being broken, this is just some stuff that needs to be looked at!

About your issues:
- File stealing: what you describe is correct. As soon as you share files with others in groups or the world area you cannot control what they will do with these files. If someone e.g. is allowed download an image of yours and opens it in irfan view there is no way you can prevent him from saving it to his disk. So this is just a consequence of sharing.
- Tree view bug: we have made a couple of changes to the tree (some of which are not online yet, e.g. proper key navigation support) with a special focus on performance, so this should become much better!
- Reset bug: could you please describe exactly what happens and what you would expect. I tried to reproduce it but it seems my situation is different. -
Inappropriate?- File stealing: Ok, but it should at least work that way, that you are charged the correct amount of storage space if you "steal" files and link them over to another group to prevent crawling attacks with 1GB accounts. Just "Copy (file)" and "Paste" in another group should dump the file in your main folder too, if it isn't already there so you can't collect any number of files easily.
It is relatively easy to get a second account, create a private group for your two accounts, share all your files with the secondary account and let that account post all these files to the private group.
Delete all your files, upload new files 'till you hit the limit, rinse and repeat - unlimited storage! This can even be done via an AutoIT script in the background I guess...
- Yep, Tree view got much better, the only issue I'm currently aware of its that it gets disabled after switching to "world" and has to be manually reenabled.
- Reset bug was fixed a week ago or so I guess it was some kind of caching problem.
A few other quirks:
* Renaming files can be started by clicking the filename, but you have to move the mouse aaaall the way down to the bottom to click "save" or you have to select another file to get a promt that asks you if you want to save the change.
Suggestion: [Enter] = "save"
* It's hard to sync a whole folder tree with a group.
Example: I have a folder named "Videos" with "Music Videos" "Family Videos" and "Dancing Videos" as subfolders and want to share the whole folder with my "Fan Club". If I add a file, I have to manually insert it to the group and then move it to the correct folder. Maybe "Group postings" could show folders too and allow adding files there! Another possibility could be to mirror the whole folder structure of a group and mark folders in which files of yours are located (new folder symbol with a + maybe?) and allow adding files there via drag + Drop or even via mirroring of one of your own folders (Rightclick on a folder in "Group postings" --> "Mirror from...")
* German translation is incomplete and has a few small errors sometimes (example: "Pro erfolgreich eingeladene_m_ Freund schenken _w_ir Ihnen 1 GB Speicherplatz.")
* Online time formula needs a revamp but I guess Luzius already had a few ideas. (It gets more and more unfair the longer + more often you are online)

- Renaming files: in the long run we will rethink the details view of items. So long this has to wait.
- Folder sync with group: your proposals are tricky because what happens if someone else inserts (big) files into that group? The idea is rather to directly insert the new files into the group (new feature since some weeks) and maintain them there. They will automatically appear in Group Postings then.
