How can I cancel the upload operations?
Because I take much too long to upload my 15 GB JPG files I would like to stop the upload, to cancel the files waiting to be uploaded.
When I depress the "Stop All" buttons nothing happens.
I see on the main window data uploading. But You told me that the file shown in the status bar is not correct. The "uploads window" isn't updated either.
Nothing in the guide to describe how to perform the above.
I was impressed when I uploaded a bunch of small files. Now I wonder if someone has ever tested this program and controlled its usability.
Its disappointing.

Inappropriate?Would a complete desinstallation and reinstallation solve the problem ?
-
Perhaps but I expect a normal solution. If I must desinstall Wuala and reintall the same version, I will get soon or later the same problem. -
Inappropriate?Hi Jacques.
If you click "stop all" it doesn't work? One simple way to solve this would be to simply select the files and delete them. However, the buttons in the Uploads window should work... -
"Stop all" is not available until a file is selected. I selected one file an clicked on "Stop all" and nothing happens. I selected all the files an clicked again several times "Stop all" and everything continue quietly. How do I remove Wuala from my PC (there is no de-install function and using the "Add/remove program" from the control panel Wuala is not visible : means it is not installed in a standard way), I get my money back and I forget definitely about Wuala. -
Inappropriate?Come on Jacques.... Wuala is such a terrific platform... give them some time to resolve that....
I’m sad
-
Inappropriate? This is a bug since a long time but there is no real bug tracking
-
Inappropriate?Wuala isn't installed in a conventional way. Since it can be started directly from the browser, it is a sort of bridge between a website and a desktop application. To uninstall you just need to delete a couple of folders. Check this:
http://www.wuala.com/en/support/faq/c...
Regarding your problem, you can just delete the folder that contains the unuploaded files and the uploads will stop. Obviously, an uninstall will also solve the problem.
I've made a note to the developers about this. In my opinion, it is a high priority bug because uploads/downloads are the core function of wuala. -
Inappropriate?Sorry for the circumstances. We will take a look on that as soon as possible.

Nice, I removed Wuala from my system. After 2 or 3 days I reinstalled it. This should solve the problem of having selected 15 GB for upload.Just forget it Wuala took all the files selected and restarted the upload.
Who has ever tested that software?
Does anyone know how to stop this bl... software to load my files? -
For uninstalling this product what about the file stored in
C:\Documents and Settings\user\Local Settings\Temp\WualaTemp\Upload and
C:\Documents and Settings\Jacky\Local Settings\Temp\Wuala.
By the way the file C:\Documents and Settings\Jacky\Local Settings\Temp\WualaTemp\Upload is filling up but I do not understand where are those data coming from. -
I uninstalled Wuala from my system after a search on my C-disk (all files and folders containing WUALA) so I deleted also programs in Windows/Prefetch, in the JAVA library, and the files mentionned in my previous comment.
I reinstalled WUALA, fantastic it remained quiet. I loaded 2 pictures aroung 4.5MB each. I did it. Another 8 pictures same size: ok. A PDF 22 MB large he did it. I left my PC, came back and discovered that WUALA had started again to do something with the 15 GB files it tried to load. The window "UPLOAD" was filing up and one picture was already 78% in progress.
Now STOP until someone from WUALA can explain me clearly how to handle this. In between Wuala will sleep in the Wallalah. -
If you add a file to Wuala, it will try to fully upload the file. The 'Stop' and 'Stop All' buttons don't really make sense and will be removed in the future. However, you can use the 'Pause' button to interrupt an upload for some time. If you want to cancel an upload, you have to delete the file in Wuala. -
I believe your explanation are not correct. I made another test. Before starting a new upload attempt I deleted all the folders on your side which had miniatures but fully completed load pictures.
On your side you probably have a file, a DB which keep all the non completed work and a mechanism tries to restart the remaining uploads.
Now it seems to work, slowly but it works -
