How to gracefully leave the Wuala network
Hello,
I am going to uninstall Wuala.
(I am going to install it again once the problem with wrong IP binding is fixed)
(see http://getsatisfaction.com/wuala/topi...)
My current question is as follows:
As I was trading for storage, is there a way to gracefully leave the Wuala network? (so that Wuala has the opportunity to copy the files in my local storage from other people)
Regards,
DAvid

Inappropriate?wuala copies a number of fragments of each file to their own server. With this copies and their error-code, they can deliver a file, even if it all other user saving parts of that file are offline.
Furthermore - as far as i know - every file is spread multiple times in the network.
For this, you simple can uninstall wuala without doing any harm to anyone. The next time, the user, which files (partially) were saved on your HD, is online, his wuala-client will maintain his files and make sure, that enough copies and fragments are spread in the network.

Inappropriate?About your IP problem... you only need the correct IP adress there if you want to forward a port automatically via UPnP - I don't think it's a real issue if you are able to use the webinterface of your router. (if not try portforward.com)
I really don't get how this should be an important feature at all since probably even my cat is able to forward a port correctly with one paw on her back and both eyes closed... ;-)
