less KB size on downloaded file?
when uploading a jpeg file and then downloading it result that the downloaded one has less KB than the original (170KB to 72KB)... do wuala filecompresing by upload? are both files exactly the same?

Inappropriate?When uploading image files, Wuala asks if you want the image to be resized before uploading. If you answer the question with yes, wuala resizes and recompresses the jpg, so the downloaded file might be smaller and NOT equal to the one you wanted to upload.
If image-resizing isn't activated, the original file will be up- and downloaded, so filesizes should be equal in general. -
Inappropriate?thank you for yr answer. you're right, wala asks to resize with the big images. but when uploading a small one wuala don't. i guess wuala deletes some innecesary data embedded with the image (preview and so) because my original file was 132KB and after uploading and downloading it was 72KB only. but i noticed now the images are still the same (file was not resaved). then deleting myself the image preview on the original file results a file with 88KB. testing with mac and osx 10.5.
